Cherry Salsa

I think this salsa, is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

4 cups cherries, stemmed, pitted, and chopped
8 green onions, chopped
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped

Mix all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl until well combined. Serve with your favorite fish.

For the Salmon:
½ teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
four 4-ounce salmon fillets
pinch sea salt
pinch freshly ground pepper

Heat olive oil in large saute pan over medium-high heat. Season the salmon with salt and pepper and sear for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or until just cooked through.

  1. Hi Dawn, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. You have created a lovely feast for the eyes and the appetite. I wonder if you remember recommending TAZO's Passion tea to me? I have noticed that the tea doesn't work well with cream, half-and-half or milk (it curdles). Have you experienced the same phenomenon?

  2. Hi whistlingypsy, Thank you. I do remember recommending TAZO's Passion tea to you. Sorry, I can not help you. I only use the sweetener, Organic Blue Agave or I drink it plain. Maybe, you can call the 1-800# on the tin, maybe they know.
